St. Ann’s Matric. Hr. Sec. School, Panagudi is an educational institution run and managed by the Society of the Sisters of St. Ann, Luzern. St.Ann’s Soceity was founded in Switzerland in the year 1909 by Rector. Fr. Wilhem Meyer. The first four missionaries set foot in Indian soil in the year 1927, to witness the merciful love of God through their services to the sick, poor and needy people. Later understanding the need for education ministry, schools were set up in different parts of India. St.Ann’s Matric Higher Secondary School, Panagudi was established in 1992. Today the Society has spread to Tanzania, Kenya, Italy, Rome, East Timor & Indonesia. It is a proud aspect that, St.Ann’s School, Panagudi has maintained a remarkable progress in establishing a rhythm in the academic as well as co- curricular activities of the young aspirants for the past 32 years. It is the aim and dream of the school that our students become useful and loyal to the society and the nation at large. Great are the works of God. May His presence continue to guide us as we march towards a new horizon.
